    Hapimag shares are as old as Hapimag itself and have proven themselves over 60 years, with the vast majority of members owning shares. There is only one type of Hapimag share, namely the Hapimag registered share (see illustrations), and over the years the terms and conditions have been adapted to the requirements of the times. This means that shares with different terms and conditions (terms and conditions / “small print”) in circulation, and they have been given illustrious names, among other things to make them easier to distinguish, such as A shares, B shares, Share 21, the INSIDER Lifetime Share, and Share Classic.

  • What is important when buying?

    • Always ask for a written quote for shares so that you do not fall for bait advertising offers made by telephone or online.
    • Always ask for the final price of the share, including all additional costs such as annual fees, processing fees, transfer fees and other incidental costs, and always request this in writing.
    • Never allow yourself to be pressured by statements such as ‘this offer is only valid today and here’ and it is better to purchase in the United Kingdom. Our favourable offers are valid from 1 January to 31 December!
    • When purchasing shares, buy as many residence points per share as possible, because later you will only receive 60 points per share/year and will only be allowed to purchase an additional 120 points. This will severely limit your holiday options.
    • Hapimag shares are not essential for living, so never buy shares on credit/savings plans, etc.
    • Before buying shares, find out all you can about what Hapimag has to offer, e.g. from a member of your family or circle of friends, read the Hapimag website carefully or ask us.

  • How can I sell my Hapimag shares?

    • The best solution is to bequeath or gift the shares to your children or grandchildren, who can then use the holiday apartments at low cost for many years to come. Children today have different ideas about holidays and often only recognise the advantages of Hapimag when they have children of their own and realise how expensive a holiday with children in a hotel can be. Not to mention the fact that children have much more space to play in a holiday apartment.
    • Repurchase of shares by Hapimag – The general terms and conditions (GTC) of your respective product apply here. (A share, B share, Holiday Share 21, Insider Lifetime Share or Hapimag Classic Share).
    • Brokerage of your shares by Hapimag to prospective buyers.
    • Suspension of your shares: You then pay no annual fee and, of course, receive no annual points credit.
    • Exchange of your shares for an additional payment for another points product or holiday apartment right.
    • Return of your shares for a certain number of points, which you can then use for accommodation or offer us for sale.

  • Local charges – What is included?

    The local charges cover the ongoing operation and infrastructure of the resort. The following costs are included:

    • Accommodation: energy, water, cleaning and laundry service, supply and disposal

    • Service: reception, administration, security and facility maintenance

    • Leisure: use of the resort specific infrastructure

    Similar to the local costs of a rented flat, these amounts are used to operate the resort.

    This is to be distinguished from the annual membership fees, which are primarily used for renovations and refurbishment.

    The additional costs do not include: visitor's tax, parking fees, cleaning fees for pets and additional services such as bread roll service or airport transfers.

Hapimag celebrates in 2023 the 60th. anniversary of the company. This demonstrates that the Hapimag holiday concept has proven itself and is used and appreciated by a large number of people.

A "disantvantage" however, is that the very first customers are now 70, 80 or even 90 years old and therefore, due to their age, because of illness or because the women have become widows, some are no longer able to or no longer wish to travel. Other reasons, too, which life brings with it, such as divorce, financial difficulties or changes in holiday habits lead to people parting with their Hapimag shares.

Sell Shares

If you want to sell your Hapimag Shares, you have the following possibilities

The best solution is to pass on your shares to your children as an inheritance or as a gift so that they can use the Hapimag holiday apartments again for many years at low cost.
  • Repurchase of shares by Hapimag. Here the General terms and Conditiones of Business for your particular Hapimag product apply. (Hapimag A-share, B-share, Holiday share 21 or Insider lifetime share)
  • Hapimag mediating the sale of shares between you and parties interested in buying your shares.
  • Abandoning your Hapimag shares. You do not pay an annual subscription and then of course do not receive your annual credit points.
  • Swapping your Hapimag shares for a different points product in return for a supplementary payment.

Hapimag shares – advice, questions, and tips

For each Hapimag share for which you pay an annual fee, you can also earn 120 points, known as residence points, per year. When you purchase through us, the desired residence points are transferred online immediately, allowing you to book your vacation quickly.

Every year, shareholders allow many points to expire unused:

2008: 1,431,270 expired points
2009: 1,514,685 expired points
2010: 1,690,263 expired points
2011: 2,040,754 expired points
2012: 1,593,099 expired points
2013: No expiry of points since Hapimag has extended the validity of the points from 31.10.2013 to 30.04.2014.
2014: 2,109,000 expired points
2015: 2,205,000 expired points
2016: 2,192,000 expired points
2017: 2,277,000 expired points
2018: 2,288,000 expired points
2019: 2,176,000 expired points
2020: 2,288,000 expired points
2021: 2,234,000 expired points
2022: 2,218,000 expired points
2023: 1,486,000 expired points
2024: 1,475,000 expired points
2025: Only 59,000 expiry points – points validity extended to 10 years!

If you calculate the value of a holiday point at just €5.00, then by 2024 members will have thrown away points worth almost €8 million! – And they haven’t booked a holiday for more than six years.
